  • What is Wanderous Rentals?
    Wanderous Rentals is a camper rental company that offers more than just campers, we aim to offer a whole outdoor getaway! We are a husband and wife duo based in Stow, Ohio who started Wanderous in 2023 as a way to share our love for the outdoors with others. Our goal is to make camping as easy as possible, so you can enjoy more quality time with the ones you love, and truly get some relaxation (or adventure) in.
  • What can I rent from you?
    We currently offer 2 fully stocked Della Terra travel trailers- a smaller, cozy couple's coach and a larger bunkhouse. 2- 10ft, sit-in kayaks. 2- 26" bikes. 1- Firman Generator
  • What are some things I should consider bringing?
    We try our best to cover all the basics to make your camping trip as effortless as possible. We recommend bringing some of your favorite food if you plan on cooking at camp. The camper has a fridge and freezer to keep your food cool. Bottles of water (we don’t recommend drinking from the camper faucets) Comfy shoes to walk around the campground Some warmer layers of clothing, like a hoodie or jacket Personal toiletries, like your hairbrush and toothbrush (we supply toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, soap, and body wash) If you're renting a kayak, make sure to bring a dry-bag so that your personal belongings don’t get wet.
  • Do you allow pets?
    We absolutely love our furry friends and we allow up to 2 well-behaved dogs with our camper rentals. Please note that the pet fee will need to be added at the time of booking. We unfortunately don't allow any feline friends in the rentals. Dogs must be housebroken, well-behaved, and non-aggressive. Any damages caused by dogs during your rental period are subject to additional cleaning or repair fees that may be deducted from your security deposit.
  • Is smoking allowed?
    We do not allow smoking in the unit under any circumstances. If there is any odor, or indication of smoking, you will be charged an excess cleaning fee.
  • How long can I rent the equipment for?
    You can rent our equipment for up to 14 days. If you plan to rent for more than 14 days, please contact us in advance.
  • Do I need any experience to use your rentals?
    While experience can be beneficial, it isn't mandatory. We do ask that our renters read the supplied binder with all the instructions, rules, and troubleshooting help for the equipment.
  • Are there safety guidelines for using the rented equipment?
    Absolutely! Safety is paramount. We provide guidelines and instructions for all our rentals. For specific details or concerns, please contact us or refer to the guidelines provided upon rental.
  • I want to pick up and drop off the trailer myself, can I?
    We do offer an option to save on the delivery fee if you choose to pick up and drop off the unit. Please note that we require an inspection of the vehicle being used to tow it and we require the following: Towing vehicle needs to be able to tow at least 7,000 lbs for The Sweet Escape, and at least 8,500 lbs for The Great Escape. Towing vehicle must have a 2 5/16" ball hitch. Towing vehicle must have a 7-pin trailer connector plug. Towing vehicle must have a trailer brake controller installed. No flat beds. Towing vehicle must be in good working condition for safe towing. Towing vehicle must have comprehensive and collision insurance coverage. Proof of insurance will be required on or prior to picking up the trailer.
  • What is the minimum age to book?
    The minimum age to book a reservation is 25 years old.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both our customers and our business. Cancellations made 7 days or more prior to the check-in date will receive a full refund. Cancellations made less than 7 days prior to the check-in date will receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be provided for cancellations made within 48 hours of the check-in date.
  • What is the delivery fee?
    We have a flat fee of $220 for delivery. This includes setup, teardown, and dumping at any campground within 50 miles of our 44224 zip code. We are more than happy to offer delivery to a campground outside of the 50-mile limit. Please contact us directly at support@wanderous.co with the details, and we can get you a quote!
  • Are there any restrictions or limitations on where I can use the rented items?
    Yes, we have a few key restrictions for the safety and longevity of our rentals: No extreme off-roading with the Travel Trailer. The Travel Trailer must remain within the United States. Ensure you're using the correct fuel for generators. The rented items should not be used in prohibited areas or during unsafe weather conditions. Any activities with the rentals should adhere to local laws and regulations.
  • How much is the Security Deposit?
    For bookings that opt for Wanderous Rentals trailer delivery, a 48-hour security deposit hold of $500 will be applicable. For bookings that choose to self-tow the unit, a 48-hour security deposit hold of $1,000 will be required. Please be prepared for a vehicle inspection and insurance verification during pickup. We reserve the right to refuse reservations based on safety and towing condition concerns.
  • What would cause me to lose my Security Deposit?
    Excessive dirtiness requiring deep cleaning, stains, damage to furniture, appliances, or the unit beyond normal wear and tear. Violating rules like our non-smoking policy will result in deposit loss.
  • Could I be charged more than my Security Deposit?
    Yes, if damages or excessive filth exceed $500 to clean or repair, you will be charged for the additional amount needed. Make sure to leave the unit as clean and operational as you found it!
  • How is the check-out inspection handled?
    Our staff will inspect each unit after check-out. We document any issues and send you a report within 48 hours.
  • Can I pay in installments?
    We require a 25% deposit at the time of booking your reservation. The remaining balance of your booking will be due 14 days prior to check-in. If the reservation is made within 7 days of check-in, we will require the full payment at the time of booking.
